How to: Repair a damaged database.
Solution:
Select 'Database Utilities' from the 'Tools' menu, select 'Repair Database...', then locate the database to repair, and click 'Repair'.
1) If any database is still open, close the database.
NOTE: In a multi-user environment, have all users close the database to repair before performing the rest of the steps.
2) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Database Utilities'. (A submenu appears.)
NOTE: 'Database Utilities' is available only when NO databases are open.
3) Select 'Repair Database...' from the submenu. (The Repair Database dialog box appears.)
4) Select the drive where the desired database is located from the 'Look in' drop-down list.
5) Select the folder containing the database to repair from the 'Look in' list box. (The database file is displayed.)
NOTE: If the file is in a subfolder, continue selecting folders until the file is displayed.
6) Select the database to repair from the 'Look in' list box. (The file is highlighted.)

7) Click 'Repair'. (A message appears when the database has been successfully repaired.)
8) Click 'OK' to close the message box.
